I hate you #pinterest

Today I’ve spent all day trying to set up a pinterest account for my graphic design brand. I spent like an hour sorting out my password because every time I’d try to like somebody’s picture it will tell me there’s something strange with your account so logout and reset password. So I’d do just that. I’d Logout and reset password, then I’d try to use pinterest again and like someone’s photo and then again it tells me to reset password.

I was so pissed like an angry bird. Just wanted to launch my head into the Pc monitor. What ever money I had I bought data to use on my 3G data card to setup my pinterest and now its eating my all data. So I’ve sorted nothing. Finally I reseted my password for the last time and then tried logging into pinterest with my blackberry using operamini. Guess what the stupid thing told me to reset my password.

I’m so annoyed my data is finished! Yesterday googleplus pissed me of but not as bad as pinterest. I even tried using my personal pinterest account and they telling me to reset my password. I can’t change the password on my phone, only on the computer which can’t now with all my data finish. So far no luck launching my graphic design brand online 😦

I generally did love pinterest until this stupid issue.

Using #Operamini browser to discover a new social society

Yesterday I was playing around with my phone looking for something to do. I usually browse the internet using operamini because its cheaper to use with data. So I was checking my bookmarks on my operamini browser I came cross Myopera community. Myopera community is a social network slash blog platform purely designed to work on any mobile device that uses the operamini browser.

So last night I began to experiment with Myopera community. Created a email with opera community which you don’t have to do. You can also just sign up with your own gmail or yahoo email. Anyway once I’ve done that, I created a profile filled in some details and clicked done. Now signed in my account to browse and see what this community was about.

I was kinda of impressed because this community is like facebook but with more features. Unlike facebook you don’t have a wall but a blog page where you can put anything from sharing photos, to youtube videos or just write content about your life. You can create groups or forums. The best part of this community for me is? Its made for mobile specifically operamini browsers.

These are simple screenshots I took with my blackberry of course I had to edit them because you can’t view the whole page in a screeshot.

You can customise your blog page from the way it looks and edit it the way you want straight from your operamini browser. You don’t even need a smart phone to manage your myopera blog. Its works on all phones with operamini which is everyphone these days 🙂 . I love blogging on my wordpress blog from my blackberry but wordpress isn’t 100% mobile friendly. I can’t edit my wordpress blog on my mobile. I’m just saying if you love to blog and can’t because of technically issues! Then signup and use myopera community to blog, its easy.

Oh I only have been using it from last night and 5 people already invited me to be friends how awesome is that 🙂

I hate the social network, Pinterest

As you may know there are many social networks but only a few make it to the top. Now days its facebook, twitter, gplus, and now pinterest that are the most popular. I still don’t quite understand pinterest and I find it quite annoying. Ain’t like facebook, twitter and gplus they have an easy to use mobile site. Pinterest mobile site isn’t even like a mobile site it is almost impossible to use.

Not all phones have the app, like blackberry. 65% of internet users are often on mobile phones. I mostly use my mobile phone to blog and use social networks. I tried using operamini and uc browser on my phone and still its impossible to use the pinboard feature on my phone on pinterest. Why? Is Pinterest so famous! Pinterest is weird because it isn’t a site to really socialise but rather share anything random. I can do the same thing on twitter and facebook. Not sure If I’ll ever get used to it but I only hate it because of my bad experiences.
